Keep calm and sharpen your skills

Camberwell Lacrosse Club would love to be able to tell you when the 2020 lacrosse season is going to start. Unfortunately none of our crystal balls seems to be working at present.

What we can do though is help you keep your skills sharp so that you're ready to go when word comes through. The Club is looking out for skills challenges and competitions and will connect you through our website, facebook page, etc

But do you have enough gear? Parents, if you don't have a practice stick, now is a great time to come and grab one:

Lacrosse is three weeks away from the commencement of the Men's State League and five weeks for the rest of the competitions.

Currently many sports and events with large gatherings of people are making alternative arrangements including postponement, playing without spectators or cancellations. Camberwell Lacrosse Club is excited to announce a new Bring a Friend program we are running for the 2020 season. We would love players of all ages to introduce their friends to the game to give them the chance to experience the best sport in the world.

The Age, 14 Mar 1927

After months of negotiation, Canterbury and Kooyong clubs have decided to amalgamate, and enter teams representing the municipal district of Camberwell.

Canterbury has for many years been a senior club, but Kooyong, despite repeated application, has never had a team above the junior A section, and consequently many good players, out of a sense of loyalty to their club, have been lost to senior lacrosse.
