The committee invites all interested people to attend a planning night on Tuesday 21st January. Come along and have input into the 2020 club calendar. We want to plan a range of events for the season including....

Last Friday, three teams from Ashwood High School ventured out to Fawkner Park to compete in the Sports School Victoria Lacrosse tournament.

Students in Years 7 and 8 from Ashwood High, Williamstown High, Emmanuel College and Patterson River Secondary College came together to play each other in a version of the game similar to indoor lacrosse. Ashwood fielded two mixed teams (coached by Christian Blair and Tony Hollenkamp) and one girls team (coached by Amanda Hollenkamp). 

Congratulations to all juniors for a successful 2019 season. From the under 11's (pictured above) through to under 17, it was great to see so many teams and so many kids playing lacrosse. The highlight of the year was the Under 13 girls winning the premiership, but every team should be proud of their efforts.

The 2019 season closed on the weekend with 3 Camberwell teams playing in their Grand Final and all coming away with the Premiership. This marks the end of an amazing season for Camberwell despite all the obstacles that have been in our path.

Under 13 Girls

Jan Jackson was given a mighty surprise during her recent overseas trip to attend World Lacrosse meetings as Chair of the Women’s International Rules Committee.

The award of a plaque acknowledging her past 26 years of service to the world lacrosse body as an international referee, assessor and Technical Committee member caught her almost speechless.

Congratulations Jan, this award is most deserved.  You are a busy person who always gives of your time and talents at all levels and you are a credit to Camberwell Lacrosse Club.

• boys gloves and protective
• stubby holders

If you have anything that is no longer wanted but good enough to be sold, drop it off at the club or bring it along.

Camberwell 13 defeated Surrey Park 10

The 2019 regular season has now completed and finals action is coming this weekend.

Last weekend the U13 boys played off for the minor Semi Final against Malvern/Chadstone. They worked hard all game but were not able to get the win to progress.
