U11 pre-season commences

Under 11 pre-season has kicked off with indoor sessions at Ashburton Recreation Centre. New and existing players are working on their skills, having a lot of fun and getting ready for 2018 outdoor season.

Interested in Lacrosse? New players are welcome to come along and give it a go. We are back indoors next Monday 19th at 7:00. Then outdoor training commences on the Thursday 22nd at 5:00 at Dorothy Laver.

Bring along school mates, friends and family to introduce them to lacrosse.

New Team in Town

Camberwell Lacrosse has a new first.

A total new team comprised of fathers of junior club members has turned out to play in the Indoor “Mill” competition on Monday nights.  Seems like Brendan Lewis could no longer bear to watch his son Mason enjoying lacrosse without giving it a go himself.  What better way than to marshal together his own team of dads.

Following a recent two-week lacrosse PE program run by our club at St Dominic’s Primary School, nine students have joined Camberwell’s Under 11 Indoor Competition on Monday nights.

The coaches have been thrilled with the way these new players are progressing and have fitted into teams with more experienced players.
