Where and when: Albert Ground, Saturday July 26, 2:30pm AEST
Last time: Camberwell 10 - MCC 14
FORM:
Camberwell: WLLLL
MCC: WLWWL
SUMMARY:
With both sides missing key players away at the Aussie Sharks training camp this game will be close. MCC are without Egan, Bullock, Stark and Tokarua and Camberwell is without Lander and Gloutnay.
Camberwell pushed league leaders Surrey Park all the way 2 weeks back, only to go down by 1 goal 8-9. The difference being a renewed agression for the ball and three additions to the team. Into the side from the USA came Mathias McCall and Ryan Penner. Also standout defender Jason Masi retured for his first game this season.
Saturdays match may simply be a numbers game. MCC are already down on players due to injury and could only field 13 in their last match. The absence of a further 4 players may leave holes to big to fill.
One key difference between the two sides is that Camberwell goes into this match with the same defense line that kept Surrey Park to 9 goals. MCC without their 3 top goals scorers will have their work cut out for them finding avenues to goal.
PLAYER TO WATCH:
Robbie Gloutnay: With the absence of Lander this week, Robbie will take the lions share of face offs. An excellent in and under player, he should dominate across the middle.
