Paid Coaching Positions

People sometimes comment that there's no “money” in lacrosse, i.e. you can't make a living from it. Well here is an opportunity to show them otherwise.

The Australian Sports Commission is spearheading a national initiative called the Active After-school Communities (AASC) program. The aim is to engage primary school children in sport and other physical activities through a positive and fun experience, and and hopefully inspire them to join a local sporting club. Delivery of the program is coordinated among local clubs, volunteers, teachers, secondary and tertiary students, and parents, brothers or sisters.

Lacrosse Victoria is beginning to organise AASC programs for the upcoming school year and they need more coaches. The programs are run after school from 3:00pm-5:30pm. Coaches are paid a wage, so it is perfect for Uni students or others who are looking for a part time job.
