2014 ANZAC Games - Call for Players and Support Staff

The ALA is now calling for players and support staff (coach, manager) to represent Australia in the 2014 ANZAC Day Lacrosse Commemorative Games.

100 years ago, NZ and Australia were scheduled to play a Lacrosse game. The game never took place. WW I broke out and it will be 86 years before Lacrosse was played in NZ again. Fast forward 100 years and Australia and NZ are set to do battle again to commemorate "the game that never was".

This team is aimed at club players who have not previously gained selection in a senior state team. Ideally, younger players from State League and aspiring players from Division 1. Additionally, a few ‘older/senior/experienced’ type players for leadership, will be considered.
